Remember, Fenris (the wolf) is prophesied to kill Odin. So by freeing Loki (and by association Fenris) Sinterklass has literally brought upon Odin’s death. Seems like a good enough reason to be angry.

in the end it woulnd't have mattered if sinterklaas(dutch spelling) freed fenrir or not. fenrir would have shed his chains/chackles during ragnarokr and devoured odin no matter what.
Sinterklass has some balls; standing up to a Norse God. Even though nowadays he's much more powerful than said god.
