Not sure I've seen this mentioned, but does Wallace only have his Earth day powers on the actual Earth plane? Or is he not using them for a different reason?
Wallace was controlling fire in Hell and rocks so I think he has them.
Wallace still has his powers, but the more he uses and depletes them the weaker he will get. He would have already died if he hadn't been able to siphon trace amounts of energy off Tegan for these past three months.
