Episode 192
If you are a new reader, you might want to subscribe to “Holiday Wars” as well as start reading it from the beginning. Once you’re caught up on the main storyline then checkout the side stories in “Tales of Holiday’s Past.”
If Pirate Day isn’t Pirate Day… who the heck is he? (hint: HE IS NOT APRIL FOOLS)
Teddy Bear Day (Sept 9) ? But wouldn't Teddy bear Day manifest as a Teddy Bear? Unless he's also …North Korean Independence Day!
EGAD!
I'm probably totally wrong, but EGAD!
remember holidays manifest into what we perceive them as that day so he might be in fact in between Theodor Roosevelt{ that's was the origin of teddy bear day his birthday i believe as well as the Korean holiday} so he may look like human with the str ofa bear would explain how he able to pull people into the ground and crush them
Or maybe it's a pun on the word bear? Bear. Bare. Dog's don't wear clothing. So maybe it's a reference to dog's since they are naked (bare) all the time! There isn't a Dog Day holiday but there is a movie called "Dog Day Afternoon" that starred Al Pacino. …so that's my guess. I think Al Pacino is the killer. 😉
"Housepets are naked all the time" is the name of Rick Griffin's new book. I therefore incorrectly surmise that Talk Like a Pirate Day is none other than Pete the Gryphon from Housepets!
Objection!!
scott you cant guess lol
if that's true then i would summarize that you be the killer since the writer always used his imagination on comics to make fun story…
So i say its scott king look alike with str of a bear but the claws of wit to make the readers say to them what?!
Argue all you want, but I still think TLaPD is Al Pacino in disguise.
Did I imagine it, or did TLAPD have a glossy black eye in his only close up back in episode 81?
There are two big glues (not counting the Teddy Bear) as to who he is… what you mentioned isn't one of them.
AW… man. The suspense is gonna kill me!
Patients young padawan.
Patients? So the holiday in question has something to do with doctors or hospitals?
Ah, well, I can wait; I'm sure my patience will be rewarded …
😉
He's Valentine's day!
– Drinks something pink
– Liquid is in the shape of a heart (a real one) in the martini glass
– Would be strong enough to kill a real holiday.
– Teddy Bears are a classic Valentine's day gift.
– Is the only one of the Big 6 we haven't seen yet

Just to update the analysis:
The Bunny has:
– Easter – Definitely not him, we've seen him elsewhere
– Thanksgiving – Probably out, for starters, she's a girl
– Valentine's Day – Possible
– President's Day – Possible
– April Fools – Out, checkmated by Wallace upon arrival in Haven
– Columbus Day – No "teddy" references that apply to Columbus
President's Day
– Bear Reference would indicate Teddy the Roosevelt
– War reference at the beginning
– He always wears the suit and tie
Valentine's Day
– Major player, powerful enough to kill a full holiday
– The pink drink + heart shape in glass (possible hallucination on my part)
– Hasn't been seen
Any other ideas or support either way?
Didn't Scott say awhile back that we wouldn't see Thanksgiving or Valentine's Day in Volume 1 other than in that flashback scene?
We saw Valentine's Day in the midpoint scene. Remember? It was the same time we saw Thanksgiving for the first time.
I thought that was Gaia in a more hippy phase.
Nope, Vday: https://holiday-wars.com/blog/2011/04/15/episo…
Leaf Erickson Day. Totally.
Nope. …interesting guess though.
I think it's National American Teddy Bear Day

It's gotta be a Holiday that's fairly well known cause otherwise he wouldn't have the power to kill another full Holiday.
i was thinking about Chester. He left the clue of a teddybear right? How did he know? The obvious answer is he saw his attacker… but remember he gave Friday the note before he was attacked. So he had to know ahead of time. So how did Chester figure it out to begin with?

Talk like a Ninja day?
