Episode 169
If you are a new reader, you might want to subscribe to “Holiday Wars” as well as start reading it from the beginning. Once you’re caught up on the main storyline then checkout the side stories in “Tales of Holiday’s Past.”
Interview Time: At the end of next week I’ll be doing a podcast interview with TGT Webcomics. I’d love it if you guys would send in any “Holiday Wars” related questions. It can be about the story, characters, writing, production, or whatever. Just leave me a question here and I’ll get to it during the interview.
Site Trouble: Sorry about the problem with the site Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. I upgraded ComicPress and didn’t realize it messed up the blog & comment system. Luckily, Darkmyste sent me an email and I was able to revert to the old version of ComicPress I had backed up on my computer. Everything should be up and running now. If not, let me know.
What exactly happens to a holiday in human world terms when it gets killed off instead of just "forgotten"?
That's what we are finding out in this scene!
I'm guessing that the embodiment dies but the calendar holiday lives on, kind of like a Dryad who loses his soul becomes an ordinary tree.
Ha! Your guess is closer than you realize.
wait i think i get it… their soul becomes part of the tree that they are in…
You'll find out on Friday if you're right or not.
yay, finally i can post and if i think what there doing then oren is very close to the truth heh
and i the site is working like it used to
Thanks for sending me the email and letting me know it was broken.
you are most welcome scott, i try my best not to be a pain in the butt.
i was concerned that there might have been a goof with my computer, so i spent the last 2 days updating all the software then, i saw where they had the menus was okay that shouldn't be there.
i wonder if comic press is aware there upgrade can be troublesome to old blogs and comments and stuff.
I did a "batch update" so ComicPress updated without me realizing. Frumph (the curator of ComicPress) and most users know that any update could bork private coding. Luckily Frumph is awesome with helping fix those kind of problems. I'll probably email him next week to see what I need to do to get my coding fixed so that I can do the update.
Hey I started reeding today and I really love this comic and its concepts! And before you blasphamize the name its because I was born on All Hallows Eve 1991, and pagen is the closest word to what i believe, and if its spelled wrong sorry. But yeah I love the comic and cant wait for more!
I don't judge anyone's beliefs and I do my best to make sure everyone feels welcome here. So Welcome! Glad your on board and hopefully you'll continue to enjoy the story.
Thanks, being accepted has been hard for me till this year and I'm sure I'll continue to enjoy the story. 🙂

I can't speak for everyone here (obviously), but I hope I can speak for a few; if not I speak at least for myself when I say that you will be missed and we will welcome you back whenever you can make it! (Here's hoping your library doesn't use any content filtering that will block you from coming here … )
omg!!! the library doesn't block the site!!!!! yes!!!
That's good to hear!
In that case, welcome back!
😉
