Well gang, meet Halloween!
I’m sure he’s not what you all were expecting. We could’ve gone the dark goth or horror route in terms of his design, but to me that just didn’t fit. Considering that to a certain extent the Holidays are a reflection of human culture, then Halloween is joke. It’s no longer All Hallows Day or something to be feared. It’s completely commercialized and about candy. Hence an old corporate looking man.
With that said, just because he isn’t a dark twisted thing doesn’t mean he isn’t powerful or that he can’t be scary!

"Old corporate looking man…"?
And here I was about to comment on how you went with Christopher Lee as your model, and what a good choice you'd made; ah well…
Christopher Lee is a darn good actor. You don't think he could pull off an old corporate looking man?
Well hey, Christopher Lee could probably do Richard III via Bruce Campbell, he's that good an actor… So yeah, good point…
No reason he can't be dark and twisted on the inside…
He is!
"… old corporate looking man" sounds scary as hell to me! Looks scary too. Definitely not Santa … that's for sure!
Santa is dead 🙁
Oh yes, I do remember that. 🙁 I was just referring to how Halloween looks … ie, not friendly and jolly … no "shakes like a bowlfull of jelly" here … hard, calloused, jaded … THAT's mr. Halloween (from looks anyway 😉 ).
wow….. halloween looks………… weak. but i guess he might be pretty strong seeing as he is like a major holiday
He definitely looks frail and is meant to look that way. As for power levels… your right, he's one of the Big Six which means he can kick major butt without trying or breaking a sweat.
Now that's funny … it's amazing how differently we interpret what you've drawn here. As I stated above, I took him as lean and hard, not necessarily frail. I was kind of thinking of Lee Van Cleef (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Van_Cleef ) in "For a Few Dollars More" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_a_Few_Dollars_More ) … well, that's what had popped into my mind anyway. Then again … I guess I could see him as an old John Carradine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carradine ) … tired, old, but still shrewd and hard in his own way.
Vincent Price is who immediately came to my mind.
Growing up I didn't know who Vincent Price was until he appeared on the "13 Ghost of Scooby Doo." I quickly learned how awesome he was.
I was sort of expecting something along the lines of Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. What I mean by that is something lanky, darker, and oddly enough I couldn't see anything without a Jack-o-lantern for a head…
Though he DOES have that little Jack-o-lantern emblem 🙂
Don't forget, he also has the Jack-o-Lantern themed casino!
I'm seeing Bella Lugosi here, not Christopher Lee. Bella is WAY more like Halloween.
