Episode 301
If you are a new reader, you might want to subscribe to “Holiday Wars” as well as start reading it from the beginning. Once you’re caught up on the main storyline then checkout the side stories in “Tales of Holiday’s Past.”
Uh oh. Seems Tegan found another use for The Holiday Spirit.
NEWS:
I want to give you all a heads up on some stuff that is happening at the end of April. Our Schedule looks something like this:
April 13th – Volume 1 Ends
April 16th-20th – No Regular updates. Instead we will burn off the rest of “The Calling†story, which is our last Tales of Holiday’s Past story.
April 23rd –  Volume 2 launches. New Website Launches. Kickstarter for Volume 1 Launches.
April 23rd – May 11th – Three weeks of contests promoting Volume 2. We plan to give away gift cards, a kindle, a nook, and several other awesome prizes.
Right now the plan is for the comic to use a MTThF schedule once the contest is over on May 11th. So that means you’ll be getting FOUR main story updates a week.
Oh snap. It looks like the Fool is in trouble….
…of course, looks can be deceiving. This all could be part of the Fool's plans. He did want to provoke her into fighting him.
It can't be that easy!
Uhm… Can it?
I think that was his plan all along.
Set phasers to overload!
BOOM?
Yeah this strikes me as a bad idea.
wait, what?
So she's *GIVING* the pure belief of 7,000,000,000 humans to the Fool? Isn't it the belief that powers them up, which is why holidays are in super-strength mode on their special day?
Why on Earth would she want to give all of it to the holiday that is currently trying to end her life?
"wafer-thin mint?"
"What a barmy dream… some kind of fruit tree, spinning like a top, and it was pouring juice down Ryan's throat, choking the bastard. But it wasn't a tree, really, when I looked closer, it was the core control, the gizmo that feeds the mag locks on Ryan's gate. You can't cut off the power, comes right from the volcanic vents… Ryan always gets his juice. But I suppose you could drown the son of a bitch in it…" This is why she decided to send all that power to the Fool. I kinda hope she's wrong, the Fool's the one i'm cheering for.
Got that quote from Bioshock by the way.
hmm overload his circuts… everyone forgets he has already had a full meal he ate the bunny.. hes about to go pop from eating too much…
Warning: This contains spoilers if you haven't seen Torchwood (it's from the last episode of Season 1 (close to the end)) but this scene reminds me of: this scene.
Reminds me of The Hulk, part one, where Dad Banner asks for the Hulk's power and the Hulk gives it all to him at once, right after he's absorbed a load of electricity and the power of an electrical storm. Kerplooie!
