Episode 281
If you are a new reader, you might want to subscribe to “Holiday Wars” as well as start reading it from the beginning. Once you’re caught up on the main storyline then checkout the side stories in “Tales of Holiday’s Past.”
It’s hard to be a smart ass without words, yet Friday seems pretty good at it.
Black Friday = Badass
It's like when cowboys tie strings to a bull's junk so that the bulls will kick and buck durring a rodeo. Friday just pulled the string really hard and I think he is in trouble.
I…DID NOT NEED THAT IMAGE IN MY HEAD!
What has been seen, cannot be unseen!
Yeah I was pretty traumatized the first time I went to the rodeo. It was scary.
Yup. Friday is badass. By the way, I don't think Friday would necessarily survive his CMoA, but he sure would go out in style.
CMoA = Carnegie Museum of Art?
CMoA = Crowning Moment of Awesome, what a Badass goes through when it is shown just WHY he is Badass. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/SugarWiki/M…
Like, for example, Mongo punching the horse out in Blazing Saddles.
Also, not all Badasses manage to survive the Crowning Moment of their existence… But they make damn sure that it COUNTS.
"Holiday Wars" has a TV tropes page.
If only we had a fan who was familiar with TV Tropes and who could update it….
he doing his part he buying time to save the tree, i dont think he really cares about saving himself he knows he going to die so he might as well go out fighting to show that he is prepared to sacrifice himself{to get the best deal} i.e tegan saving them
Can he even save himself? What can he do against a full Holiday?
Hmmm… what if Friday was egging Teddy on so that he would be blinded with rage and Friday could out think him?
I'm not sure how much thinking Friday is capable of at this point.
The strong one isn't the man who dishes out the beating. It's the one who takes the beating and keeps getting back up and coming back for more.
Reminds me of the definition of insanity.
Then again, I think the question everyone should be asking is: Does having multiple bodies mean that President's Day gets stronger, or does he have to divide up his power between them?
By the time this fight to the death is over, you'll know.
Very interesting question. If the holiday is shared among the bodies, then the more focused he becomes on Friday, the less the other hims can be doing, leaving Tegan even more free to maneuver than just having pulled Teddy from the entrance.
The Presidents weren't messing with Tegan. They were leaving Teddy to guard the tree alone.
Maybe they are like power rangers, and they are all strong apart but can be fused together to form a super prez!!!!!!!
Ready to form Voltron! Go Voltron force!
Vote for Voteron! Voteron is a uniter, not a divider.
Ooh, I am simultaneously cheering our indomitable Friday (LIVE, Friday, LIVE!) and wincing. I work for a dentist, I know how much that's gotta hurt.
…of course, bonus points for Friday, for snarking through the pain.
At least it's a back moler and not a tooth that's part of his smile line.
Heck yeah!
