Holiday Wars

If you are a new reader, you might want to subscribe to “Holiday Wars” as well as start reading it from the beginning.

It’s been awhile since I’ve said it, so let me emphasize just how awesome Micheal Odom, the penciler on “Holiday Wars” is. For example, checkout the script for today’s episode:

I’m not a director. Nine times out of ten I don’t care if a shot is a medium shot or close-up (when it does matter I do specify in the script). As long as the characters are there, you can tell what’s happening, and there is room for speech bubbles, I’m generally happy.

So throughout all of “Holiday Wars” when you see things like the triangle panels, breaking the borders, or anything that’s really makes the artwork seem alive and pop… that’s all Micheal Odom!
