We actually had a debate about the apple tree in a casino. I’ve only been to Atlantic City and everything I know about Vegas is from what I’ve seen in Movies/TV or have heard from friends. So when writing I wasn’t sure if it was too far fetched to have an apple tree planted in a casino.
Ultimately we decided it makes sense for two reason. The first is that casinos are crazy in terms of gimmicks and the crap they do and the second is that this is a Halloween themed casino and since apples are a fall/harvest fruit it works.

Apples make sense to me; bobbing for apples is a Halloween game, at least around this area (American South).
